About the Attorney
I began practicing law in 1998.  I graduated from Stetson
University College of Law in 1998 with my law degree and
passed the Florida Bar exam and was admitted to the
Florida Bar later that same year.  Prior to attending Stetson
University, I attended Florida State University where I
received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and
before that I attended the State University of New York at
Binghamton where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

After beginning my legal career in a general legal practice
which emphasized business law and securities matters, I
represented the developer of a large mixed use community
in Central Florida that currently consists of over 75,000
residents, extensive commercial development, and various
other improvements such as golf courses, infrastructure and
roadways, a cable television system, and private utility
systems.  I represented this developer for almost five years
in the acquisition and development of real property;
construction of commercial improvements; the leasing of
commercial space; landlord and tenant matters; financing
matters related to the acquisition and development of the
real property; and various other contractual, business, and
legal matters.

Returning to the Tampa Bay area, I became an associate
attorney with two large law firms in their real estate
departments before beginning to represent a large
commercial real estate development company in 2006.  This
real estate development company, which includes
developers, real estate brokers, leasing agents and other
real estate professionals, has real estate development
projects throughout Florida and the eastern United States.  I
continue to represent this development company in the
development of new commercial real estate projects, in the
acquisition and rehabilitation of existing commercial real
estate projects, in the management of commercial
developments, and in regards to general business matters.

In addition to this development company I also represent
various companies in the operation of their businesses,
numerous real estate brokers operating throughout the
entire State of Florida, individuals and diverse businesses
who own real estate or are involved in real estate
transactions, buyers and sellers of real estate, commercial
and residential landlords, commercial and residential
tenants, and other professionals involved with real estate or
who provide services to owners of real estate.
